Notice of Meetings

Topic Progress:

Directors must be given at least seven days’ notice of a meting of the Directors (a “Board Meeting”).

In an emergency, it is possible to call a meeting at shorter notice, if all Directors explicitly waive their right to seven days’ notice.

Any Director may call a Board meeting, but in practice the Chair normally assumes this role.

It is good practice to set out a long term calendar of dates for meetings to avoid absences.
